I never thought I would have that 'end of year' thing traditional schoolers have. We school year round with slightly more swimming in summer, and slightly less paperwork, but other than that, there is no real change.
As the kids get older, more and more events follow the traditional school year.
So far we have had the 4H presentation show, Co-op play, and the piano recital. Tonight is the Girl Scout Court of awards, and then within a week, we have the Science Olympiad, and Cub Scout Crossover.
There will be some 'wrap up' parties for all, but in general that finishes up our year, and we can take a big deep breath...before we rush into summer camps, and family visits!
This is the first year I have had so much help with all the events, I keep having the sole job of showing up with snacks to share, and kids...it is WONDERFUL! Next week is a bit more work, but still loving all the wonderful folk who help me so much.
Now to write a thank you note to GS, bake cookie and go watch my kid.
