When you stick some weight loss type goals on a list, the reporting tends to run like a dry boring workout list. I really haven't the talent to make this interesting, but I feel compelled to list it to keep myself accountable.
My first two goals are not even one tiny bit accomplished. I ignored the ship to get a little more focus on some 4H work and kicked the overflowing game pieces back under the door. We did play a round of Rage and some checkers though. So alas all I have to report for my 3 in 30 is the boring workout stuff.
Please feel free to skip the following (though I shall pretend you read every word hanging on the minute details so that I feel obligated to actually do something)- there is something about typing things out that makes me feel I have to complete things.
Day 1 - I did 5 things! I went for a walk to the slides, the short way. when I am really on the ball for energy I make the kids walk the long way. rounds to about 1 mi. This time I only had Baby Girl and Little One so we strolled the short way. I blamed it on Baby Girls short legs. Yes I know it was a rationalization, there is a reason I said 'move' not 'mile' in my goals! I also snuck in some core work and such in the shower. Used to always 'wall sit' while brushing teeth. Somehow 2 minutes is an eternity when 'sitting' in an imaginary chair. (and no I didn't make it the whole 2 minutes - but I did some!)
I also drank a ton of water. Not sure how much, but it was more than normal. And more is the goal right?
Day 2 - I woke up with great intentions, then I found no clean grown up glasses for my breakfast milk, I sulked over a tiny tiny little glass of milk and got sucked into a ratio problem with Dude. Later I decided to type out my 'record' for the week and felt guilty about giving up so easily. I found my metal 'car cup' to fill with water and a cut of lemon. I keep lemons quartered in the freezer for when I am really not in the mood for yet another glass of water. I also took a 5 minute break to do my 3 non walking things. Mostly because it seemed a good way to procrastinate paying the bills. It happened to be Tuesday and I count scouts as 'moving'.
Day 3 - I had plans of taking the day off. Little One had other ideas, she insisted I be up and moving with her for much of the day. I added a little music and we danced. Later in the day I did some 'kid lifts' and had a giggle fest to top off the workout. Unfortunately the water filter broke so I didn't have anywhere near enough water for the day.
Day 4 - oh yeah this day was shot. In more ways than one. Though with the filter fixed I did manage quite a bit more water.
Day 5 - I was stuck in the car for much of the day but I did manage my three things and drank all the water I had available. Could have been worse.
Day 6 - I spent the am dealing with 'drama' for scouts so I was on the phone and pacing. I think that counts. I also did some of the other 3 before rolling out of bed for the day. Water wise I drank 'some'. which is more than none!
