I sat down with the kids and talked about what sort of subjects would need covered for one to be 'well educated'. I talked about what seemed most appropriate in those subjects based on their age.
Then together we planned a daily schedule to get them all covered.
It was fun, it was color coded, it is adorable, and nifty and you can even see all the kids work at the same time!
We all had a great time and we are all excited to put the plan into effect.
Though I know perfectly well some tweaking would have to occur, Overall it looks quite pretty, covers the basics, and should end the year with some well educated children.
Of course you know it was also a BIG waste of time, why on earth would I spend so much time making a fancy color coded schedule when I knew full well there has never been a week that went according to the plan.
Well, because it was fun. Yep, I like that sort of planning, it is just plain fun.
