This month the kids asked to study the Beatles for music. We have mentioned them and heard their music before but we thought we might actually put them on the timeline and look up a little history about them.
I listened to a lot of 'oldies' as a kid but I never really put a name to any song, so I have a lot of trouble remembering good songs. I thought I would make my life simpler, I posted on Facebook asking for song suggestions! Worked like a charm, some traditional favorites and some wonderful somewhat obscure songs were mentioned. I just had to follow their links, or youtube search the song titles, and now I have a full playlist of great Beatles songs.

I remember when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. Tell them that is part of my history too!! Everyone in the family was horrified. I secretly that they were great.
