Can I please type too?

When I make the kids todo lists, I always try to make Dude and Princess have the same number of items on their lists.  I knew Dude would want an exact detailed explanation of why she had any less.  (oh maybe because she is 20 months younger, and doesn't want to do 4H, Science Olympiad, or piano lessons?)

Anyway in order to get them to match I added in some random Brownie work and typing practice.  I tried a few different programs till I settled on BBC's silly kid fun.

Princess loves it, I often have to drag her off the computer to complete any other task! I haven't had a chance to watch her type to know if she is any good yet; but I have overheard her correcting little Man's hand position!

This week, Dude asked if he could please play the typing game when he finished his usual list.  This from the kid who usually plays AOE III, or LOU on his laptop.  Two modern fancy games with all the graphics and newfangled research to make then as addicting as modern game designers know how!

Considering it is a free program I am in love with it!

Though it does bring up that old question - teach computer skills or handwriting?
