2.8 in 28

I saw a couple posts on my FB feed for '3 in 30' a challenge to do just 3 things in the month of January.  Of course I could always use a good kick in the rear to do something so I thought I aught to join in.  But since it was too late, and oh I had a dozen other things to do/write about, and well maybe I should go get those cookies out of the oven.

Ok, rescued them from burning.

So here it is February and I haven't even picked 3 goals for January much less completed them.  I am rather good at procrastinating.

So I figured I would aim for 2.8 in 28 (short month, so I get a smidgen less work to do right?)

1. Build a viking ship.  Nothing to momentous, we happen to have a nifty kit from a lego knock off that looks cool when built but being a knock off is terrible to play with and a royal pia to build.  I have asked husband to get rid of it, but failing that I decided it should become part of the living room decoration.  We have a 'kids all wrote on the wall so we put up their paper art to cover it' look going here so a toy boat should fit right in (next to the Lego Yoda of course)  You would think this is an easy task but I can't build the thing the knock offs send me into fits of rage with not fitting right, and the lousy directions.  Plus all building has to be done when Little One is not on the floor, so she wont eat any pieces.

2. Rearrange my closet MY WAY.  I long ago had a clean closet, then somehow it went from 'our closet' to 'his closet'...and while my husband has many wonderful qualities, organization is not one of them
So I am reclaiming the closet.  He can have the garage.

And finally .....the .8
Clear out 80% of the emails in my inbox...currently at 92.  I will be lazy and round that to 100 so the goal is to have less than 20 by and at the end of the month.  (I get a lot for scouts and such every day  so this is a rather ambitious goal))

OK it is official, I click this little 'publish button' and I will be committed to completing these 2.8 items.


Umm want to talk about those cookies?  Or the price of tea in China?  Or anything?  Oh yeah you aren't here till I push that button, so I am just talking to myself to avoid having to really commit.

Sigh, now you know why nothing gets done around here!
