I followed a link to a learning website from youtube of all things. I found a song 'Mean Median and Mode' which looked pretty cool, and of course came with a link to their website learningupgrade
We checked it out on a whim, and so far it looks pretty interesting. We checked out all the Demos, everyone enjoyed them, Dude even asked for the free trial. Today I signed Little Man and Baby Girl up for the reading section. (They were the only two with computer time to waste so far). It begins with very basic sounds, perfect fun for Baby Girl, but way to easy for Little Man. I assume it will ramp up quickly and out pace Baby Girl.
So far they only made it to level 2 and 4 so time will tell if it ever gets hard enough for him, and how fast it is too hard for her.
As a side note, I am amazed at how young the two of them are able to handle the computer 'mouse'. either laptop touch pads are easier than a 'regular' mouse, or they are just plain way more skilled than their big sister and brother. I think Dude was 6 or 7 before he could control a mouse well enough to play games.
Or they have had more examples!! Gotta catch up to big brother and sister!!
