We have way to many books out of the library right now, so I told Dude and Princess I would not request any more for them until they read all the ones we had. There are 58 books out on the one card, and 8 more requested. Normally I try to keep it under 30. So putting a hold on new books seemed a good idea.
Then it hit me. Dude has finished "The battle of the Labyrinth". Normally this would mean I am ready to request "The Last Olympian" which I have been waiting for weeks on. (we received both the Percy Jackson book and The Goblet of Fire at the same time. He read Harry Potter first I went straight for Percy Jackson.
But if I am insisting he read what we have first, I shouldn't get a new book.
Ouch.
Though truthfully 5 of those books are mine. Maybe I should read what I have instead of complaining.
Go Read!! I love that we have to make those kind of rules about reading not about video games!!
