Well first we always take out the 'good stuff' and my husband and I eat it over the next few days.
But all that other stuff, I think I still have some from last October!
Thanks to this link 'Candy Experiments' I now know what to do with it all!
Visions of color mixing, and acid tests, color separation, and dissolving fun are all dancing in my head!
For the first time I am excited for 'trunk or treat' night!
I do let my kids have some, a piece or two for a day or two then they forget to ask for it, and I don't remind them.
I also think this might be a cool way to see if we can find what difference red 40 has over other coloring. (my boys are both allergic to red 40).
If you are interested in the costumes.
Dude is going to be 'the Ghost of Christmas presents' (black ghost with glow in the dark hands, carrying some presents)
Princess will be a 'fairy princess'. which is a collection of frilly fluffy princesslike stuff she put together. Including a tutu and wings that were made in earlier years, and some black accessories, along with black nail polish that glows in the dark. (glows green)
Little Man will be a dragon from a costume bought by his grandma.
Baby Girl wants to be a girl scout (man that was easy, her sisters uniform sash over khaki pants and shirt)
Little One I think we go as a baby....might be a little boring but sure is easy. Somehow the fun of dressing up a baby is kinda over when you are on the 5th, it is more fun to have one easy kid. Might just be me though.
Did I mention Candy Experiments? I can't wait for Monday morning.
have you got a renaissance dress that fits her? she could be a princess too!!
ReplyDeleteI loaned the mini renaissance dress out and it never came back.
