Mad Libs

Princess was pouting over not knowing what to write.  Then she was asked to go entertain Little One for a few minutes.  I heard her telling a story, repetitive as babies like, but still had a few sentences to it.  So I told her to write it down and then we would find words to take out to turn it into a madlib.  After a few spelling challenges she finally had something short to use.

Here is the word list:

Noun
Verb
Verb ending in ing
Verb ending in ing

And the story (if you want to play)

There was a little __________, who made her sister __________.  She was always ______________.  Her sister though  __________ was funny!

Little man thought it sounded like so much fun he tried one.

Proper noun:
Noun:
Verb ending in ing:
Adjective:

____________ was asleep in his _________.  Sam was ____________   _________  guys.

At some point I think I will insist on longer stories, and more interesting word gaps, but for now we reviewed what a noun, adjective, and verb are.  Plus a bit of writing practice, and that is the main point.
