Ambleside online reading

I am mostly an 'open' homeschooler, any program that keeps my kids interest, and guides them to learn is good enough. But I have really enjoyed the reading found on Ambleside. Some of the reading takes time for me to really get into, but all of it has contained useful lessons. Some stories I will not be rereading to my younger children, but none have I regretted.

So in order to keep track of what I need to read each day, I have a FB note, that keeps getting lost as new notes pile on top! Instead I am going to have a 'widget' on the sidebar of this blog with the current list. Mostly it follows the AO program, but some books we fall behind in for one reason or another. Others we have at the wrong time.

I keep the links to the books separate from the reading list, one is a direct cut and paste from AO, one I had to configure with HTML tags.

So in case you wondered why there is a list with links to books on the side, and one with chapter titles, now you know :).
