There, their, and they're

Oh dear.  I have found multiple times in the last few weeks that I am using their/there wrong!  I know the rules. I just seem to have lost the brain function to type them correctly!

If I caught half a dozen problems, how many more slipped through without my notice?

Am I only noticing now because Dude has been getting it wrong?  Have I always been one 'of those people' who can't use their/there correctly?

And before I ask, "how on earth can you not use 'they're' right?  It is a contraction of 'they are'.  I you can't tell the difference between that and there/their you really can't be a native English speaker", I had better find out if I accidentally typed that wrong too.

The older I get, the more faults in myself I find, and the less I can blame others for their own.

It really strikes home the 'take the plank out of your own eye'lesson when I find myself making such stupid mistakes.  I really have no call to correct anyone's grammar or spelling, it only takes one blog post to fill you in on my troubles in that area!
