Not my fault you picked that long for school!

I do a lot of work with various groups, some are homeschooler only, some half and half, and for others we are the only home schooled family participating. For events that are half and half I constantly see the PS parents complaining that 'It's not fair, Homeschoolers have more time to go places and work on badges." I don't quite get how a parent who has chosen a schooling option that requires 8 hours minimum away from home gets to complain about those of us choosing a full education that fits into 3 or 4 hours. We made a choice, and because of that choice, some things are easier, others harder. But I don't go blaming PS families for their..... Well I don't know what they get out of doing it their way. But they must like it.
