Sometimes I forget how easy it is to be 'already there'. I still search out different programs, I am even going to check out a new math book on Monday. but in general all the 'heavy lifting' has been done.
I know what I want for the most part, I know what types of programs will work for my kids (for the most part) and I know what 'style' of homeschooling we are into.
I don't even have any doubts about actually homeschooling. We made that decision before we ever had kids. So when new homeschoolers ask me questions I really have never been in their shoes, and I feel terrible not knowing what the need or where to send them.
Especially if they are not a kindergartener. By the time a kid is in 3rd or 4th grade there are so many options for skill level, interest range, and learning type.
Where would you send a new homeschooler first?
to You!!
