Another Award! Stylish Blogger from All Things Beautiful

Wow another award, that is so cool.  And all thanks to my stylish design that I got by using Bloggers free design tool :).  Maybe it refers to my stylish use of fake words. Prolly not.

I really am honored that anyone (aside from my mom, though I do love you) cares enough to both read my blog and recommend it.



All Things Beautiful has a lovely Stylish blog with wonderful science ideas, geography fun, and more.  I really enjoyed reading her 7 things.  A relaxing tea time nightly just sounds so wonderful.

And now 7 things..This is harder than it looks.

1. My parents taught me to program in a very simple basic language back in the 80's.  A rather young start in software development.    Today I avoid even installing new programs.
2. Computers and I have a 'love hate' relationship.  I love using them. .I hate how often they need fixed.
3. I actually like winter.  it gives me an excuse for hot tea, warm sweaters and my really cool boots.
4. I don't like summer much.  I can't swim, don't look good in a swimsuit and have pasty pale skin that doesn't belong outside.  
5. I am worse than a 'kid in a candy store' around books.  I really am addicted to reading.  Given a quality fiction book I will forgo all  but the bare necessities of life until I finish.
6. My mother made a simple book to teach me to read with.  I don't know how long I took to learn, but I can picture in my mind exactly what the hand drawn car looked like.
7. I learned my Grandmothers first name while trying to sound out Pam.  I was more surprised that my grandmother had a 'regular' name than interested in learning to blend.

I am sorry I didn't pass it on to the right number of bloggers, I just don't follow that many.  Mainly from lack of time, and my reading addiction.  I can get sucked into reading a blog for hours.  Hours I aught to be devoting to sleep.. or laundry.
