Irascible Irene

Dude wrote a tall tale for writing and Latin.  The goal was to use as many Latin derivatives as possible.  His Latin book gave him a list to work from.  He was to underline all the Latin derivatives (that came from words he had learned, we did not go look up any other words to see if they were from Latin or not)

Once upon a time there was a female cowpoke who liked to tell fables.  Sometimes she told fabulous stories, sometimes they were disastrous.  One of the other cowpokes favorites to hear was about Irascible Irene.  She was a servant for the Smith family.   Though she was a good worker, she was easily irritated.  Every time she was irritated, she would throw lemons out the window.  This defenestration led to a humongous lemon orchard growing right outside their house.

He stopped it there, though it left me curious what they did with all those lemons.
