Guest post: Little Man's Ikea Idea

Doesn't a guest post sound fancy?  I always think when reading other blogs with guest posts they must be 'real' blogs with lots of readers, and maybe even make money.
I do not have a 'real' blog  This is just an easy way to share cute things my kids did with family and friends.  And this totally counts as cute and shareworthy, except Daddy got to hear it all.  So here is the 'guest' my husband (does that make him Lord Chadwick?)

So my youngest son was getting ready for his good night kisses and Daddy asked him if he was going to be a dragon slayer when he grows up.  Little Man has such a cute smile, he shook his head no.  So I asked him if he was going to be a dragon rider then.  Little Man again smiled and shook his head.  Then I asked if he was just going to grow up to be plain old Little Man.  He said he was not sure yet, but he knows he is going to work at Ikea!

Then he said 'Oh I'll probably be an artist.'  I asked if the Ikea job was so he had a steady paycheck while he waited for his big break, and noted that most artists sell a painting for a gazillion dollars after they die.  So I guess his kids will be rich.  Little Man showed off his math, he said he was going to paint a gazzillion things so none of them have to sell for that much when he dies.  Then he said 'everybody dies....eventually I may be 900 years old like Yoda and have to die.

  1. That is cute. It is great what kids say that you can write down and remember isn't it?
