Another week of fun web-hopping. I sometimes wonder how productive I could be if I were not so addicted to web-surfing.
Educational
ABC bible plans - only the A, B, C, and D are free though
Living Math booklist - very good list of books, been using it to supplement our PLCMC request list
Historic documents on lbrivox - love some of their readers, others are just plain good, never met one I disliked
Gadsen flag and mini history - just be careful, apparently the govt has labeled folk enjoying this one as trouble
Exogeoology - homeschooler at work
Music flashcards - online notes test
Random country generator - while this isn't strictly educational, it would be an interesting way to test geography Or to learn about a lesser known country.
Printable music sheet - Lots of formating options, more than I know what to do with!
Political
Truth about the war on drugs - really needs a new name, the death and destruction isn't against drugs, it is against real people.
Gatto on origins of public school - "When you want to teach children to think, you begin by treating them seriously when they are little, giving them responsibilities, talking to them candidly, providing privacy and solitude for them, and making them readers and thinkers of significant thoughts from the beginning."
Taxes and the dinner bill - nice analogy on how taxes are split up.
Misc.
Abiding Mom vs Super Mom -cute comparison with Bible verses
what almost unschoolers kids are reading - and link to what my kids are reading
Mommy Rhapsody - VERY funny!
